The Cavite Government Center, located at the Provincial Capitol Compound in Trece Martires City, has been temporarily closed for disinfection after one of its employees tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The disinfection activities are scheduled from June 8 to June 10.

The provincial government didn't release any information about the patient.

Meanwhile, Trece Martires City Mayor Gemma Buendia Lubigan announced that the targeted lockdown at Block 21 of Regina Ville 2000 in Barangay Inocencio will be lifted on Tuesday, June 9.

The targeted lockdown was earlier implemented in the area while waiting for the results of the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) of the close contacts of a patient who tested positive for the virus.

As of June 7, the city has recorded 11 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with six recoveries, and one mortality.
