Mandaluyong to hold seminar on new guidelines for barbershops, salons

The Mandaluyong City local government announced that there will be a lecture-demonstration on June 15 on “workforce safety and health protocol” for barbershops and salons.

The Mandaluyong City Public Information Office in a Facebook post, said that important information on the new normal will be discussed in the seminar that will be held starting at 10 a.m. at the Atrium Executive Building of the Mandaluyong City Hall.

Those interested have to register by sending an email to: [email protected]

They have to give the name of salon/barbershop; name of the participant and the contact number in their email.

Only one participant will be allowed per establishment.

The seminar is in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Filipino Hairdressers Association.

Under the general community quarantine salons and barbershops will be allowed to operate but in a limited capacity.
