In an advisory posted on the Philippine Consulate General HK’s Facebook page on Thursday, it was announced that no new cases of COVID-19 was reported among the Filipino community in Hong Kong.

The embassy said that although the number of COVID-19 cases in Hong Kong continues to go down, this shouldn’t be a reason to be complacent.

It reminded Filipinos there to remain vigilant, wear a face mask, frequently wash hands, and avoid crowds as much as possible.

The embassy also reminded Filipinos to abide by the HK law on social distancing.

It also appealed to employers of overseas Filipinos workers (OFWs) to honor their rest days so they may remain indoors during these days.
