BACOLOD CITY — Two more villages here are under investigation for alleged irregularities on the distribution of Social Amelioration Program (SAP).

The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Bacolod refused to divulge more details about these barangays in the meantime, while validation of the complaints against those involved is ongoing.

Chief Master Sgt. Ramiro Gocotano, CIDG-Bacolod head, said they received several complaints against some barangay officials last month.

“We are conducting an in-depth investigation to verify the complaints we received,” he said.

Last month, the CIDG already filed charges against some barangay officials and their employees here and in Negros Occidental for the said allegation.
