Twelve Manila City Hall employees tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the city government’s rapid testing conducted when they returned to work.
Manila Health Department (MHD) data released Thursday (June 4) showed that at least 743 employees were tested as of Wednesday.
The MHD said four of the employees who tested positive for the disease in the rapid test have already undergone polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests.
The returning employees underwent rapid testing at the city government employees’ clinic starting on Monday, the first day of the general community quarantine (GCQ) in Metro Manila.
