The team is keeping a close watch on Barangays San Luis and Abbut of the town of Tuao East, Barangays Ayaga and Libertad of the town of Abulug, and Barangay San Antonio of the town of Claveria which are the entrance and exit points of the provinces of Kalinga and Apayao.

Cagayan Governor Manuel N. Mamba created a task force and quick response team to secure the boundaries against individuals who are COVID-19 carriers.

His instruction is for the team to “triple its efforts to keep the boundaries close to anyone who would enter the province.”

Earlier, a total lockdown has been imposed on Conner based on an executive order of Municipal Mayor Martina Dangoy, which aims to swiftly contain the spread of the virus.
