The local government of Taguig City encouraged its constituents to watch a YouTube video explaining what a general community quarantine (GCQ) is, prepared by the National Task Force Against COVID-19.
The local government shared a Facebook post by the World Health Organization (WHO) to remind those from areas under a modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) and GCQ.
Those interested to see the video can click on:
“Nakatira ka man kung saan may modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) o general community quarantine (GCQ) sa Pilipinas, nililimitahan pa rin ang paglabas sa pagbili ng mahahalagang bagay at mga serbisyo pati pagtatrabaho sa mga opisina at industriya na pinayagang magbukas,” part of FB post from WHO Philippines read.
(Translation: Whether you live in areas in the Philippines under MECQ or GCQ, going outside is still limited to the purchase of essential goods and services, and for those who need to report for work in establishments that have been allowed to operate.)
WHO Philippines encouraged the public to remain indoors and protect each other from the COVID-19.
After Metro Manila was placed under a GCQ, a lot of people seem to have forgotten the rules on social distancing.
Thus, the need for a reminder that the metropolis is still under quarantine and COVID-19 still poses a threat to the wellbeing of people.
