CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan – A 37-year-old man was arrested here a few hours after allegedly raping his 13-year-old daughter Thursday night.
Investigation showed that on May 28, at about 12:30 pm., the suspect was with his 13-year-old daughter as they were supposed to go to a junk shop. But they instead boarded a tricycle and went to a grassy area in Sta. Maria Bulacan.
The suspect then allegedly raped his daughter and threatened to hurt her mother if she would tell anyone about what happened between them.
But when they arrived home, the victim decided to her mother what happened. Her mother then sought assistance from barangay tanods of Barangay San Rafael, City of San Jose Del Monte.
After hearing the report, village officials immediately arrested the suspect and turned him over to Santa Maria Municipal Police Station for the filing of a criminal case.
A criminal complaint for incestuous rape, in relation to Republic Act 7610, against the suspect is being prepared for filing before the Office of Provincial Prosecutor, in the City of Malolos.
