PH Consulate in Agana, Guam lights up in blue to honor COVID-19 frontliners

The Philippine Consulate General in Agana, Guam has joined the global #LightItBlue campaign to honor Filipino COVID-19 frontliners across the globe.

According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, the initiative was made in response to the Philippine Consulate General's special request to join the worldwide campaign.

The Philippine Consulate General's building facade was illuminated using blue spotlights.

The facade of the official residence of the Philippine Consul General in Jonestown, Guam also lit up in blue.

There are 2,180 healthcare practitioners in technical occupations and 980 healthcare support occupations in Guam. An estimated quarter of the said total are Filipinos or of Filipino ancestry.
