As the COVID-19 pandemic shut down real-world activity and kept billions indoors, video games have been seeing exceptional growth.
Players of free-to-play digital collectible card game Legends of Runettera can now purchase coins for the game on Codashop.
"We are pleased to announce that players in eight markets across Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, can purchase coins for Legens of Runeterra, Riot Games' free-to-play strategy card game set in the world of League of Legends, on Codashop," Coda Payments said in a press release.
Players will no longer need to log in to Codashop or use a voucher or PIN code. The coins will automatically appear in the game once the payment has been made. Payment can be done through Globe, Smart, GCash, and GrabPay.
Coda will also offer payment solutions for Riot Games' upcoming games, including Teamfight Tactics Mobile, VALORANT, and League of Legend: Wild Rift and Teamfight Tactics Mobile.
