Manila Doctors Hospital (MDH), AXA Philippines, Development Accessibility Fund for the Deaf
(DEAF Deaf) and the Philippine National Association of Sign Language Interpreters (PNASLI) through
a collaborative partnership is providing free COVID 19 online consultation to Deaf patients nationwide.
Utilizing the power of social media, volunteerism and the first-ever Deaf friendly copyrighted
prescription pad, patients can go to https://www.facebook.com/HAT4DOCovid19/ for consultation.
Doctor-Sign Language Interpreter teams are available from Mondays – Saturdays 8AM to 6PM.
This undertaking is part of the Healthcare Equality and Accessibility for the Rights of the Deaf
(HEARD) a special project implemented by MDH Corporate Social Responsibility Office and DEAF
Deaf since 2018 in line with its commitment to provide inclusive quality healthcare for the underserved.
