Faculty members of the University of the Philippines-Diliman (UP-D) will share not only their expertise and know-how in our collective battle against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), but part of their salaries as well.

A post on UP Diliman’s official Facebook page announced that faculty members, through #SweldoKoAmbagKo, can give cash donations to the UP Diliman Trust Account at the LBP UPD Campus Branch. The account Name is UPD Trust Fund, and the account number is 3072-1007-18.

The donations will be given to “sectors of society most affected by the pandemic,” the post read.

“The end to the pandemic is still out of sight. In the face of dwindling resources and donation fatigue, UPD perseveres to support its own and others: the student dormers, boarders and construction workers stranded by the lockdown on campus, communities and residents in need, frontliners, and most of all, those afflicted by the virus,” the FB post read.
