Provincial Information Officer Orphues Velasco said the new one-storey building was an additional facility which can accommodate coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) survivors and suspected cases or patients under investigation, who have tested negative but would still need to complete their 14-day quarantine.

PCA officials Carlito Dion and Ruel Parayno and Provincial Health Officer Anna Maria Theresa De Guzman, who represented Governor Amado I. Espino III, signed the Deed of Donation.

Fr. Hinaro Hiramia officiated the blessing of the building as a part of the opening rites.
