DFA reports 10 new COVID-19 cases among overseas Filipinos

The Department of Foreign Affairs on Sunday reported ten new confirmed cases of COVID-19 among overseas Filipinos from the Americas and Europe regions.

In addition to the new cases, the DFA also said five new recoveries and three new deaths were added to the updated tally posted as of May 3.

This brings the total number of COVID-19-positive overseas Filipinos to 1,751. Of this figure, 1,070 are active cases or Filipino patients who are undergoing treatment in various health facilities in 46 countries and regions, while 210 have succumbed to the virus.

Europe posted the biggest number of COVID-19 cases among Filipinos with 522, followed by the Americas (488), the Asia Pacific (373), and the Middle East and Africa regions (368).
