Pasay records 8 more COVID-19 patients

The Pasay City Health Office recorded an increase of eight persons affected with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) from 188 last April 29 to 196 on Friday. Number of deaths is at 20.

The city health office also recorded that from the city’s 201 barangays, about 88 barangays were recorded to have confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The four barangays identified with highest number of individuals affected with the virus were Barangay 183 with 20 individuals positive from the virus, followed by Barangay 34 with 10, Barangay 36 with eight, and Barangay 35 with five.

It also said that the 41 patients who recovered from the disease were from 25 different barangays in the city.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano is advising city residents to just stay home if they don’t have any business to attend to outside.

Rubiano also told the city residents to always wear face mask if they cannot avoid to go out, especially if they need to buy medicines or basic necessities.

She also reminded citizens to always practice physical distancing and to wash their hands regularly.
