Sun Life of Canada (Philippines), Inc. launched a new digitally enabled selling process allowing Filipinos to avail of life insurance products and stay financially protected amid the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).
In a statement, Sun Life Philippines said yesterday that it has now a digitally enabled process – using teleconferencing tools – to connect clients with their financial advisors during the ECQ period.
Through this digital platform, Sun Life Philippines said their clients would get professional advice on their financial goals, learn about the insurance solutions that would best fit their needs, and avail of these products.
Alex Narciso, Sun Life Philippines president said that this is their way of helping Filipinos stay protected from financial risks, especially in these times of uncertainty. “Whether they aim to get a life insurance policy or upgrade their existing coverage, they can do so without leaving the comfort and safety of their homes,” Narciso said.
“The process we implemented is designed to make the experience as convenient, easy, and secure as possible for our clients,” he added. To avail of Sun Life’s products remotely, clients only need to have an internet connection, a valid email address, any online video conferencing tool, landline or mobile phone, one valid government-issued photo- and signature-bearing identification card, and access to online banking or e-wallet services.
Over-the-counter deposits through select partner banks will also be accepted as an alternative payment method.
