NAIA Terminal 2 One Stop Shop caters to arriving OFWs

The One Stop Shop (OSS) at the NAIA Terminal 2 catered to repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who arrived Saturday night from Milan, Italy. A total of 339 seafarers and 340 ground OFWs from Maldives were served.

The OFWs underwent thermal scanning and rapid testing, filed health declaration form, given mandatory quarantine briefing, while their travel documents were also checked prior to transport to designated hotels or quarantine facilities.

The OSS is a joint effort of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Department of Tourism (DOT), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), Office for Transportation Security (OTS), Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Philippine National Police (PNP), and the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), geared to aid repatriates in going to various isolation facilities to undergo the 14-day mandatory quarantine to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
