COVID-19 patient who escaped from PGH found in Binondo

A COVID-19-positive patient who escaped from the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) was found in Binondo, Manila on Sunday (April 26).

According to a police report, the 31-year-old male patient was found in Barangay 274 at around 1:10 a.m.

Members of the PGH rescue team, the barangay security force, and some police officers conducted the rescue operation.

The patient was brought back to PGH for medical treatment and isolation.

Investigation is ongoing.
