Phinma spends ₱25 M for COVID assistance

The PHINMA Group has spent ₱23.75 million in response to the COVID-19 pandemic across the group including its network of partners in business, civil society and government.

The group said this includes ₱5 million to support the joint PBSP-Caritas-Bayanihan, Musikahan effort that will support and help the most vulnerable sec¬tors of society and do crowdfunding through Ryan Cayabyab’s “Bayanihan, Musikahan” online concert.

It also spent ₱8 million to provide assistance to health workers at the front lines with masks, suits, food, lodging and transportation, help establish supplementary health care facilities, and provide food and other assistance to vulnerable groups.

PHINMA also provided ₱3.75 million for assistance for up to 1,500 PHINMA Group contractual No Work/No Pay staff and workers. Each individual is being allocated ₱2,500 to provide food and health packs.
