The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has opened another dormitory for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) frontliners.

In a Facebook post on April 11, Saturday, Vice President Leni Robredo announced that Dorm Nine, located at Novaliches, Quezon City, is now open for frontliners.

Robredo said Dorm Nine is near Commonwealth Health and Medical Center, Far Eastern Hospital (FEU) – Marian Medical Arts Building, and Neopolitan General Hospital.

“Bukas po ang ating dorms para sa mga health workers, medical practitioners, at iba pang frontliners tulad ng mga security guards at iba pang volunteers sa mga programa kaugnay sa laban sa COVID-19 (The dorm is open for health workers, medical practitioners, and other frontliners including security guards and volunteers in the fight against COVID-19),” the vice president said.

Due to social distancing measures and limited space, however, the dorm will operate on a “first come, first served basis.”

The OVP has partnered with Simplicity Fairview Holdings, Inc., managing partners Martin Escalona and Frantz Edward Dy for this dormitory.

Frontliners who want to avail of the dormitory may contact [email protected] or 0998 591 7408.
