CAMP GENERAL ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan–The Philippine National Police in this province doubled their vigilance on Good Friday, April 10, in manning the checkpoints related to the enhanced community quarantine, and in the conduct of police operations against all forms of criminality.
In anti-illegal drug operations conducted by operatives of Bocaue, Guiguinto, Plaridel, San Rafael and Sta Maria Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), nine suspected drug peddlers were arrested.
In a report sent to Acting Bulacan Police Director Colonel Lawrence B. Cajipe, the arrested suspects were identified as Mark Alexis Patingo Caguinguin, 35; Roberto Danilo Sagun Drueco, 43; Gerald Labador Alcontin, 43; Jason Lalong -Isip Tobias, alias “Tonton”, 34; Janeth Eringco Lique, 30; Giselle Ann Salvador Menoza, 26; Rayann Cundanagan Villafuerte, 35; Georgina Villafuerte VIllafuerte, 41, and Ron Jhon Belleza Subillaga alias “Ading”, 23.
Recovered from the suspects during the operations were a total of 38 pieces of a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of shabu; drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.
Meanwhile, 3 suspects were arrested in the anti-illegal gambling operation conducted by the Sta Maria police. The arrested persons were identified as Elmar Magnaye Ignacio; Rizaldy Fuster Manuel and Christian Cobilla Dizon.
The suspects were caught in the act of playing the card game “tong-its” in Sitio Manggahan, Brgy. Pulong Buhangin, Sta Maria, Bulacan.
Seven suspects were also arrested for violating the ECQ in Guiguinto, City of Meycauayan and in the City of San Jose Del Monte.
