Shabu, marijuana seized by Bulacan police from 6 suspected drug peddlers

CAMP GENERAL ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – Pieces of plastic sachets containing shabu and marijuana were confiscated by Bulacan police from six suspected drug peddlers, who were arrested in a series of buy-bust operations conducted in the four towns of this province.

Acting Bulacan Police Director Colonel Lawrence B. Cajipe said the anti-illegal drug operations were conducted in Norzagaray, Marilao, Bulakan, and Bustos.

The suspects were identified as Erish Bayumbon Mendoza; Bernabe Romero Soriano, included in the drug watch list of Marilao police; Leonard Lanoria del Cruz Jr.; Russel Jimenez, alias “Atcho”; Jasper Alcantara Reyes, and Romar Zaulda Romulo, alias “Junior”.
Confiscated from them were eight plastic sachets containing shabu; four medium and two small heat-sealed sachets of dried marijuana leaves; one tied-knot of dried marijuana fruiting tops and buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects and seized pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Crime Laboratory, while appropriate criminal charges against them were being prepared.
