Six coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients have been discharged from the Marikina Valley Medical Center after they recovered from the dreaded disease.
This was the good news announced by the hospital on its Facebook page on Friday night.
“As of today, Friday (April 3, 2020), we are happy to announce that 6 of our COVID positive patients have recovered and have been discharged,” it said in its statement.
Marikina Valley Medical Center has lauded its doctors, nurses, nursing aides, ancillary staff, janitors, and other staff, saying that “they are our true heroes.”
Meanwhile, the hospital said its isolation ward is at its full capacity as it continues to serve persons under investigation (PUIs) and COVID-19 patients.
The public was urged by Marikina Valley to always observe proper hygiene, social distancing, and to stay at home to fight the spread of COVID-19.

As of 4 p.m. of April 3, the local government of Marikina said the city has 32 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and seven deaths. Meanwhile, it has recorded six recoveries.
