On Monday, the University of Santo Tomas (UST) has received 3D printers from the show, Eat Bulaga. These 3D printers will be used to help produce face shields for frontline health workers amid the ongoing battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a Facebook and Twitter posts, UST said, “The new printers, installed in the University earlier today, will augment UST’s efforts of producing visors for the face shields of frontliners.”

Eat Bulaga has given UST, through the Faculty of Engineering, three Ultimaker 2+, a known 3D printer that is robust, reliable, and easy to use.

The face shields developed by UST will be given to UST Hospital and other partner hospitals.
