As the Filipino community continues the fight against Covid-19, Lazada Philippines partners with radio stations Magic 89.9, Jam 88.3, Wave 89.1, and Play 99.5 to host two special sessions of “#RadioGivesBack: A LazadaForGood Charity Concert From Home.”
These two one-hour charity fundraising concert sessions will be livestreamed exclusively on the Lazada app via LazLive, and broadcasted simultaneously through the radio partners on March 30 and April 6 at 5 p.m.
Artists participating on the March 30 run are Yael Yuzon, Karylle, and Barbie Almalbis, together with bands The Itchyworms and Munim
While watching the performances in the comfort of your home, you can donate through the Lazada app for the benefit of frontliners who are risking their lives to help fight against Covid-19. Leveraging the LazadaForGood digital giving platform, you can support local communities and causes in need of aid during this extraordinary period, through direct and secure online donations to Lazada’s list of 15 advocacy partners.
Donations will provide various forms of support and supplies such as hygiene kits, medical equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), food, and personal care packages to frontliners and those affected by the virus.
To date, Lazada and its partner agencies have raised about P7 million. Other forms of support now available on the app is LazGames, where accumulated and earned coins can be converted to vouchers ranging from P50 to P1,000 and can be donated directly to any of LazadaForGood’s advocacy partners.
