COVID-19 cases in QC now 65

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Quezon City has risen to 65 from the previously reported 49 cases.

However, Quezon City Health Officer Dr. Esperanza Arias on Monday night did not provide other details, claiming that her office is still waiting for the a Department of Health (DOH) report as of press time.

When pressed further, Arias gave no details on what barangays were hit by the latest COVID-19 cases.

In a telephone interview, Arias gave the assurance that her office will provide relevant information as soon as the DOH comes up with the report.

From 44 cases on Friday (March 20), a report released on Sunday showed that there were 49 COVID-19-positive patients in Quezon City as of 9 p.m. on Saturday.

The report noted that five patients have recovered and three others died.

As of 9 p.m. of March 21, the COVID-19 cases per barangay are:
San Antonio (1), Paligsahan (1), Project 6 (1), Matandang Balara (2), BL Crame (3), White Plains (1), Pasong Putik (1), Pasong Tamo (2), San Isidro Labrador (1), E. Rodriquez (1), Doña Imelda (1), Bagbag (1), Tandang Sora (2), Valencia (1), Maharlika (2), Kalusugan (3), Del Monte (1), Marilag (1), South Triangle (1), Socorro (1), Bagong Silangan (1), Ugong Norte (1), Batasan Hills (3), Damayang Lagi (3), San Martin de Porres (1), Fairview (1), PhilAm (1), Bahay Toro (1), Don Manuel (1), Tatalon (1), Sacred Heart (1), Masagana (1), Bungad (1), Ramon Magsaysay (1), Horseshoe (1), and Pansol (1).
