BACOLOD CITY – The Bacolod City Task Force against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has reported 12 persons under investigation (PUIs), and 801 persons under monitoring (PUMs) for suspected infection of the disease.
Dr. Grace Tan, spokesperson of the task force, said that, of the 12 PUIs, five were men and seven were women. They are confined in various hospitals here.
Tan said that two PUIs were from out of town, while the 10 others were local residents.
Two of them had travel history to London and Dubai, while the remaining PUIs had travel history to Manila and Dumaguete, she added.
Tan said that seven out of the 12 PUIs have pending results while the rest have not been swabbed due to unavailability of swab and transport media from the Department of Health (DOH).
She, however, assured that all PUIs were all in stable condition.
Tan said that two other PUIs were recently discharged from the hospital with improved conditions.
The city government maintained that Bacolod remains COVID-19 free.
Authorities consistently advised the public to stay at home and refrain from going out of their houses if not necessary.
