"Huwag papa-apekto sa mga bashers and trolls. Hayaan mo lang sila at kaming bahalang mag-defend sa yo. Kahit hindi taga-Pasig suportado ka."

The first-term mayor replied to the netizen and said: "Wala po kaming panahon makipaglaban sa mga trolls at paninira. Lahat na lang gusto nilang gawin politika,"

Sotto added that they are just trying to do their best to save loves.

"Kayo na po bahalang tulungan ang Pasig para di mabahala/malito ang mga Pasigueño sa mga trolls," he added.

Pasig recently set up a community kitchen that is giving its health workers and other frontliners meals and repurposed its Bike Share units to help government personnel and health workers get to work.

The City also set up sanitation tents outside hospitals, provided bus service for healthcare workers, and reportedly bought disinfection drones.

Sotto said they are also preparing to distribute 400,000 food packs and 8,000 bottles of vitamins to Pasig City residents.

Netizens have been commending Sotto for his vigorous actions to help his constituents amid the virus threat.

#ProtectVico has been trending on Twitter Philippines on Thursday.
