DAGUPAN, Pangasinan – A man, believed to have been possessed by an evil spirit, beheaded his co-worker in a fit of rage insider their employer’s residence in Barangay Telbang, Bayambang, Pangasinan.
According to a report from the Police Regional Office, suspect Kenneth Rodriguez, a house helper, was resting with three co-workers inside the house of their employer when he suddenly went amok at around 11:25 p.m. Tuesday.
According to his co-workers, the suspect suddenly went wild and started to attack them with a kitchen knife.
House help Marvin Aguilar said he and victim, Alfred Manliclic, 67, were able to grab broom sticks to ward off Rodriguez’s attacks/
Aguilar said he and Manliclic tried to go up to the second floor to summon their boss when Rodriguez was able to corner the victim, who was stabbed in the nape and was eventually beheaded by the suspect.
The suspect was immediately arrested, and is now the subject of investigation before the appropriate case is filed against him.
