4 crime suspects arrested in Las Pinas City

Four persons facing various criminal cases were arrested by the Las Pinas City police Monday and warrants of arrest were served against them.

Police identified the arrested suspects as Kyle Merilladap, 25, of Barangay Tatalon, Quezon City; Rogelio Padilla,46, of Marina, Paranaque City; Aquilino Salvador 111, of Barangay Ilaya, Las Pinas City and Kris Alexis de Guzman,39, of Project 8, Quezon City.

Police said that Merilladap, who is facing frustrated murder, was arrested at about 12 noon at Dona Josefa Village, Almanza I, Las Pinas City.

Police said that a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Lorna Navarro Domingo of the Las Pinas City Regional Trial Court Branch 201 was served against Merilladap by members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS).

Domingo recommended bail of P120,000 for Merilladap’s temporary liberty.

At about 1:00 p.m. Padilla who was facing criminal case for violation of Sec. 15 of RA 9262 was arrested by members of the WSS along Starmall located at Pamplona 3, Las Pinas City.

Members of the WSS served the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Joselito Vibandor of Las Pinas RTC Branch 199 against Padilla.

A bail amounting to P120,000 was recommended by Vibandor

Salvador who was facing charges of attempted rape was arrested at about 2:15 p.m. after a warrant of arrest issued by Las Pinas RTC Branch 202 Judge Elizabeth Yu was served against him with a bail of P120,000 recommended.

De Guzman who was facing charges of violation against women and their children was arrested at about 2:50 p.m. along Crispina Avenue, Las Pinas Village, Pamplona 3.

A warrant of arrest was issued against de Guzman by Las Pinas RTC Branch 2 Judge Mildred Jacinto with a recommended bail of P 12,000.

The police said that the four suspects who were arrested after a warrant of arrest was served against them were brought to Las Pinas police custodial facility.
