The excellent net public satisfaction rating obtained by the Duterte administration is a “hard blow” to its critics and detractors, Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said Friday.

Andanar said the latest survey results indicated the public’s approval of President Duterte’s strong leadership and political will as well as the performance of the hardworking government workforce.

“The survey result is a reflection that this administration’s comprehensive actions in addressing societal problems and providing the necessary needs and services to give all Filipinos a dignified life, especially to the most impoverished communities, is being felt by all,” he said.

“This is a hard blow not only to the critics of this administration, but also to those who doubt the sincerity of this administration’s promise to all Filipinos of collective development,” he said.

In the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey conducted last December, the Duterte administration earned a +73 percent net satisfaction rating classified as “excellent.”

The survey showed 81 percent of the 1,200 respondents are satisfied with the administration’s performance, 7 percent are dissatisfied, while 12 percent are neither satisfied nor dissatisfied.

Andanar welcomed the increase in the administration’s net satisfaction grade, as he affirmed the commitment to sustain programs aimed at improving the lives of Filipinos.

“This is an evident testament to the Duterte administration’s policies and reforms that no one will be left behind in the continuous growth and progress of the Philippines,” he said.

“This government will continue to work hard to deliver President Duterte’s legacy of a prosperous and comfortable life for all Filipinos,” he added.
