Details on OPPO’s upcoming flagship, the Find X2, has surfaced from the Android Authority—the go-to independent publication of Android OS.
According to Android Authority, the OPPO Find X2 will include the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, a new Sony sensor, and improved screen quality.
The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor will offer a bunch of powerful features, including processing two gigapixel per second, 25% faster performance, and 8K video, among others.
For the screen, the OPPO Find X2 is believed to have a 120Hz refresh rate with a 3K display and will cover the entire front of the phone. It’s also believed the phone will roll out in a 6.7-inch screen with more accurate colors and higher dynamic range.
Android Authority also mentioned two OPPO devices are listed in a Bluetooth SIG, which heavily hints the possibility of a second variant of the Find X2.
If there’s anything more to look forward to with the OPPO Find X2, it’s that they’ve always brought in something spicy for cameras. The new Sony sensor is said to focus on four things: High-speed focus, high resolution, high sensitivity, and high dynamic range.
According to Android Authority, the first model of the Find X2 will be getting a triple rear camera setup with 48MP+12MP+13MP. The second model will have 48MP+48+13MP, suggesting that this variant is the “pro” version.
OPPO will be officially unveiling the Find X2 on March 6.
