Killed was Stephen Grajo, 25, of the said village.

Lt. Col. Levy Pangue, head of Police Station 3, said Grajo was walking alone when the suspect identified as 35-year-old Arvin Sayson allegedly shot him using a homemade 12-gauge shotgun.

Grajo sustained a gunshot wound in the back, and was brought to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH), where he was declared dead.

Police recovered the firearm used in the crime, and an empty shell.

Police said Sayson may have been by intense jealousy into killing Grajo after learning that his girlfriend had been allegedly sleeping at the victim’s house.

Sayson is still at large.
