Eighteen persons under investigation (PUI) in the province of Cagayan tested negative for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and were already discharged in different hospital.

This was confirmed by Dr. Jose Carlo B. Valencia, chairperson of Infection Control of Cagayan Valley Medical Center, in a meeting with Tuguegarao City Mayor Jefferson Soriano.
The test results of the PUIs were brought up at a Local Health Board Meeting attended by barangay chairmen ,SK Federation, Presidents of the Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA).

Aside from COVID-19 updates, also discussed at the meeting was the strict implementation of road clearing orders that were given by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Valencia urged the public anew to practice proper hand washing as a way to curb the spread of COVID-19.
"Alam dapat natin ang kahalagahan ng tamang paghugas ng kamay at proper cough etiquette upang maiwasan ang pagkalat ng anumang sakit, " Valencia said.
