BOQ doctor on duty Geraldine Yangson said “We have all the safety suits [to be used] in assisting incoming passengers from China, Hong Kong, and Macau, and other parts of the world that are [infected with nCoV].”

“We have different suits for Ebola virus, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERSCoV) and novel coronavirus, [all for ] one-time use only, except for the rubber boots that can be washed,” Yangson said.

She added that the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) provided the BoQ with an isolation room near the tarmac to properly care for any incoming passenger infected with nCoV.
