The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced Friday that Sevilla Bridge in Mandaluyong will be closed to vehicular traffic from 10 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.
In an announcement on their official Facebook page, the MMDA said the bridge closure was due to the Skyway Stage 3 project’s “transfer of equipment (barges and cranes) downstream.”
The MMDA advised motorists to avoid the area and instead take alternate routes to their destinations.
The bridge connects the cities of San Juan and Mandaluyong and is a vital thoroughfare for those in the eastern part of Metro Manila.
