A hospital in Tala, Caloocan City said there is no confirmed case of 2019-novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease (nCoV ARD) in their facility, but admitted they have persons under investigation (PUIs) under their care.

In its Facebook page, the Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital in North Caloocan announced that six persons are already under investigation as of Wednesday (Feb. 5).

A day before it rose to six, there were only three persons under investigation, they said.

The hospital issued the statement following claims circulating on social media that “there is a suspected nCoV patient at Tala Hospital” and they “got confirmation coming from an employee.”

A certain Samuel Coritana, who posted the claim, even posted a photo of what appeared to be a quarantine tent.
