Several Chinese schools in Metro Manila suspended their classes on Monday, January 27 as a precaution against the 2019 novel Coronavirus (nCoV).
The virus, believed to have originated late last year in a seafood market in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, has spread globally.
The schools that suspended classes on Monday include:
- Hope Christian High School
- Pace Academy
- Saint Jude Catholic School
- Stephen’s High School
- Uno High School
- Chiang Kai Shek College (Padre Algue and Narra campuses)
- Philippine Academy of Sakya
