The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Monday cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms will prevail in the Samar provinces due to the tail-end of a cold front.

In its early morning forecast, PAGASA added the tail-end of a cold front will also bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms in the rest of the Visayas.

Further, PAGASA reported the northeast monsoon or “amihan’’ will bring isolated light rains in the Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Calabarzon and Bicol regions, as well as Aurora, the Mindoro provinces, Marinduque, and Romblon.

The state weather bureau also noted that cloudy skies with isolated rains due to the northeast monsoon will be experienced in Metro Manila, Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon.

Meanwhile, PAGASA said Palawan and the island of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 22°C to 30°C; Tagaytay City, 22°C to 29°C; Baguio City, 13°C to 24°C; Metro Cebu, 25°C to 31°C; and Metro Davao, 24°C to 33°C.
