BUTUAN CITY – Nine fugitives were arrested this week as the Metro Butuan City Police Office (BCPO) stepped up its drive against wanted persons throughout the city.
“All the felons were arrested through warrants of arrest issued by the local courts here,” BCPO City Director Col. Canilo A. Fuentes told The Manila Bulletin on Saturday.
He said those arrested were wanted for various charges in courts such as estafa, robbery, malicious mischiefs and violation of other national and local ordinances
“Five of the arrested wanted persons had committed violations of local ordinances. It is as crucial that we follow our local laws as we adhere to national laws to keep this city ascending,” the BCPO city director added.
