The firm has extended a helping hand by delivering gallons of drinking water for the benefit of about 1,000 affected families.

The province of Batangas was declared and remains to be under a state of calamity following the phreatic eruption of the Taal Volcano, which severely affected the surrounding towns in the Taal Volcano island, and even adjacent municipalities.

Thousands of families were forced to evacuate the risk areas due to heavy and prolonged ashfall and strong earthquakes.

Volunteers from PrimeWater headed to the town of Santo Tomas, one of the identified evacuation centers, to bring a thousand gallons of potable drinking water.

“PrimeWater is thankful to the LGU and the police force for the generous assistance given in the distribution of these supplies to the families who are really in need of drinking water,” the firm said.
