The suspects were identified by police as Jerrymias Suson and Miguel Castillo. The two were arrested by joint operatives consisting of the Follow-up Section, Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Las Pinas City Police, and the PNP Drug Enforcement Group.

In the report submitted to Southern Police District Chief Brig. General Nolasco Bathan, the operation was launched at around 6:50 in the evening along Verdant Acres Ave., Verdant Acres Subdivision, Brgy. Pamplona Tres, Las Piñas City.

Police said that a poseur buyer was able to purchase illegal drugs worth P1.5 million from the suspects which led to their arrest.

The operatives seized three blocks of suspected shabu concealed in candy wrappers weighing more or less 2.5 kilograms.

The confiscated illegal drugs was turned over to the SPD Crime Lab for chemical analysis. Cases for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against the suspects.

Bathan said that this is by far the biggest accomplishment of SPD.
