A businessman died when shot by an unidentified suspect on board a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon in Las Pinas City.
Police identified the victim as Michael Padlan,47, and a resident of CA/BF International, Las Pinas City. He suffered several gunshot wounds in the body and was rushed at the University of Perpetual Help Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician Dr. John Paul Barrios.
Investigation showed that the incident happened at about 5:30 p.m. along Palace St., Southland, BarangayCAA.BF International, Las Pinas City.
The police said that reports showed that prior to the shooting incident, the victim was on board his BMW X5 car colored silver grey with plate number AOT88 when an unidentified man wearing a half-faced mask on board a colored black motorcycle suddenly appeared and blocked his path.
The suspect, police said, that without any word shot the victim several times and immediately fled on board his motorcycle going to an unknown direction.
The police is still conducting an investigation on the shooting incident to determine the motive of the killing.
