ANTIPOLO CITY– The call for donations and prayers for the victims of the Taal Volcano eruption continues with both Roman Catholic and Christian organizations initiating fundraising drives and leading their respective congregations to seek divine intervention during this time of calamity.
The Diocese of Antipolo, which has also issued the “Oratio Imperata” or the Prayer In Times of Calamity is calling on the faithful to send donations of cash and in-kind by coordinating with the parish office where they reside.
The Christ Commission Fellowship, one of the largest Christian organizations with chapters in the provinces, is also leading a fundraising campaign to raise donations for those displaced by the eruption.
Other Christian groups based in the provinces also have their own fundraising initiatives to help people suffering as a result of the volcanic unrest.
