“I like to emphasize this is a pilot program this is not about livelihood” Suansing said in an interview at CNN’s The Source on Friday.

“Ang magbibigay ng livelihood sa kanila pag naging batas” (what will give them a means of livelihood is if it becomes a law),” he explained.

Suansing also said that the purpose of the pilot run is to find out the feasibility of motorcycle as a public transportation.

“The pilot program… binuo yan because as instructed by Congress to find out the feasibility of making motorcycle as a taxi or as a public utility vehicle (…it was formed).” he said.

The extended pilot program of motorcycle taxis Angkas joined by Move it and JoyRide started on December 23, 2019 until March 2020.
