Police identified her as Jennifer Killsgaard, more commonly known as Jenny Roa, 45, included in the police drug watchlist and the subject of the operation.
Roa’s cohort, Norman Viña, 49, was also collared after allegedly handing the former actress the illegal drugs.
Investigation showed that members of Pasay City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a sting at Roa’s house on Eusebio Street around 9:50 p.m. after an informant tipped them off.
“As per informant namin na pumunta dito sa opisina, garapalan . Nakikita ng mga bata, parang walang iniilagan,” Corporal Jett Morillo, case prober, told reporters. (Our informant, who came to our office, said they were selling the stuff openly. Children could see what was going on.) “Isang linggo po na sinurveillance sila.” (They were under surveillance for a week.)
After a transaction with a poseur buyer, Roa, along with Viña, was immediately arrested.
Seized from them were P300 worth of suspected shabu which was the subject of the sting, and four more sachets of suspected shabu worth about P31,000 which police found in a red ang pao.
Roa, who previously appeared in sexy movies including “Ang Galing-galing mo, Babes” and “Tikboy Tikas at mga Khroaks Boys,” denied she is a drug pusher but admitted being a user.
“I’m using . I have my own reason, parang gusto kong pumayat (I want to lose weight),” Roa said. “ di ko po magawang magbenta. Mayroon po akong karelasyon na seryosong tao (But I don’t sell. I am in a relationship with someone serious).”
Roa and her cohort might face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, police said.
