The City of Malabon Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CMADAC) partnered with the FOS Art Group to stage the exhibit, which will be open to the public until Sunday, November 24.

For each painting sold in the art exhibit, 50 percent of the proceeds will go to the CMADAC, who help former drug users to turn over a new leaf and reintegrate back into society.

Malabon City Mayor Antolin "Lenlen" Oreta III led the launch of the charity art exhibit on Monday, November 18.

In a Facebook post, Oreta said people should extend help to everyone, including drug rehab patients.

"Ang pagtulong ay walang kinikilalang tao o panahon (One should not choose only which ones to help and when they should extend help to others)," he said.

Works by Maestro Fernando Sena, dubbed as the Father of Philippine Art Workshops, are featured in the exhibit.

Other artists like Angelito Lepalam, Agnes Batallones, Joval Kisinamal, Mario Villanueva, Dennis Tresvalles, Sen Lacson, Romy Masilungan, Fredie Kisinamal, Alex Ibardolaza, and William Alvarez, Jr. also have their original works displayed in the exhibit.
