Central Luzon State U graduate tops 2019 Agriculturist Licensure exam

A graduate of the Central Luzon State University topped the November 2019 Agriculturist Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Monday.


Out of the 13, 492 takers, 5,538 passed the exam led by Paul John Maningaas Pangilinan of Central Luzon State University with an 89.67 percent passing rate.

John Lawrence Agustin Arrogante and John Vincent Asi Garcia of the University of the Philippines-Los Baños (UPLB) shared the second spot with 89.33 percent.

The third spot is shared by Karl Louisse dela Cruz Obispo of Cavite State University (Don Severino Agricultural College) and Layka Aguro Servidad of Central Philippine University.

Also in the top list are: Daniel Joseph Genabe Paglinawan of Mindoro State College of Agriculture and Technology-Victoria at fourth place with 88.67 percent and Eliseo Arches Jaboya Jr. of De La Salle-Araneta University Inc. and Jese Varron Naldoza of Josefina H. Cerilles State College-Dumingag (5th) with 88.50 percent.

The results were released seven working days after the last day of examination.

The Agriculturist Licensure Examination was conducted in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

It was given by the Board of Agriculture led by its Chairman, Dr. Fortunato A. Battad, and members, Dr. Nora B. Inciong, Inv. Gonzalo O. Catan, Jr. and Mr. Vicente L. Domingo.
