The Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office (NOPPO) on Wednesday offered a reward money of P 100,000 to anyone who could help in the arrest of the cop who was one of the suspects in the killing of broadcaster Dindo Genoroso.

The P 100,000-bounty was raised with the help of the provincial police director and a group of journalists in Dumaguete.

A GMA News report showed that P 80,000 out of P 100,000 reward money came from Police Colonel Julian Entoma himself.

The reward money will be given to anyone who could give police any information that will lead to the arrest of PO2 Roger Rubio.

Entoma earlier told the Manila Bulletin that Rubio failed to report for duty a day after the victim was killed. Rubio is assigned to the Provincial Mobile Force Company.

“Face the charges that was filed against you,” Entoma urged Rubio.

Two other suspects identified as PO2 Glenn Corsame and former police asset Teddy Reyes Salaw were nabbed by police just hours after the killing.

The arrest of Rubio is crucial to the case as police investigators believe that he is the principal suspect. (With a report from Glazyl Masculino)
