DLSU announces class, work suspension in Manila campus Dec. 2 to 7

De La Salle University (DLSU) on Tuesday announced that there will be no classes and no work from December 2 to 7 in their Taft, Manila campus.

DLSU Chancellor Bernard Oca, in a memorandum on Tuesday (November 12), made the announcement.

The memo from the chancellor was in anticipation of sporting events that will happen during the country’s hosting of SEAG.

“Access to the campus will likewise be restricted,” the memo read.

Meanwhile, the College of St. Benilde likewise announced on Twitter that they will suspend classes on Dec. 2 to 7.

"Benilde Manila and the Benilde Deaf School suspend classes and office operations from 2 to 7 December 2019," the Twitter post read.

The Philippines will be hosting the 30th SEA Games from November 30 to December 11.
